The purpose of the annual Global CONNECT Summit is to bring existing regional innovation centers together with developing economic regions to provide best practices and knowledge sharing to further strengthen U.S. and international economies. More than 100 leaders from various regional innovation clusters, accelerators, incubators, economic development councils, government policymakers, tech transfer offices, academic institutions, corporations and venture capital companies convened to discuss improving innovation activity and modeling, as well as review new financing models and more efficient and competitive ways to collaborate and commercialize.
